My mom was quite friendly with Olive when I was in high school (she worked at BYU Independent Study where Olive frequented to get courses). I was on my high school ballroom dance team and so was asked to audition for a part in an Osmondish movie. I was one of the handful of ballroom dancers in the NBC TV movie Side by Side starring Marie and Joseph Bottoms, playing her parents. She was very nice to work with and I have only positive things to say about the family. I’m not what I’d call a huge fan of the Osmonds, but I think they are pretty decent people. My mom was quite friendly with Olive when I was in high school (she worked at BYU Independent Study where Olive frequented to get courses).
